The Situation

From our constitution:

“We observe that society is being divided more and more into two hostile camps. On one side stands the imperialist capitalist class, a small minority of society. On the other side stands the working class, the vast majority. The imperialists seek domination and parasitic gain at the expense of the rest of society. However, it is in the interests of the working class to liberate society from the chains of exploitation and stagnation laid upon it by the imperialists and lead it in the direction of solidarity, development, and freedom– socialism. This is the historical mission of the working class.

However, we recognize that this mission will not appear before the heroic class on its own. Rather, it is the duty of revolutionaries who understand the science of political economy to clarify to their class brothers and sisters their duty to liberate all of society from imperialism and construct socialism in America. Toward the end, we establish the Chicago Workers’ School.”
